REGIA NAÅ¢IONALÄ‚ A PÄ‚DURILOR - ROMSILVA are ca obiect de activitate:
- Aplicarea strategiei naţionale în domeniul silviculturii, acţionând pentru apărarea, conservarea şi dezvoltarea durabilă a fondului forestier - proprietate publică a statului, pe care îl administrează, precum şi pentru gospodărirea fondurilor de vânătoare şi de pescuit atribuite potrivit legii, pentru recoltarea şi valorificarea, prin acte şi fapte de comerţ, a produselor specifice fondului forestier, potrivit prevederilor legale, în condiţii de eficienţă economică, exercitând şi atribuţii de serviciu public cu specific silvic;
- Coordonează şi implementează Programul Naţional de Ameliorare Genetică a Cabalinelor, Conservarea Patrimoniului Genetic Naţional, constituit din totalitatea populaţiilor de cabaline cu valoare genetică ridicată, creştere, ameliorare, calificare şi perfecţionare a efectivelor de cabaline în rasa pură.
Comercializează produsele specifice fondului forestier, precum şi celelalte bunuri care se recoltează, se prelucrează şi se valorifică din fondul forestier - proprietate publică a statului:
a) masă lemnoasă pe picior, provenită din tăieri de produse principale, secundare, accidentale şi de igienă ale pădurii şi sub formă de sortimente, precum şi produsele rezultate prin prelucrarea primară a lemnului;
b) alte produse lemnoase: arbori şi arbuşti ornamentali, pomi de Crăciun, puieţi forestieri, răchită şi împletituri din răchită, mangal de bocşă şi altele de această natură;
c) vânatul viu din crescătorii şi din cuprinsul fondurilor de vânătoare, carnea de vânat, trofeele de vânat şi coarnele căzute în mod natural, peştele din apele de munte şi din păstrăvării, bălţi şi iazuri din fondul forestier, fructele de pădure, seminţele forestiere, ciupercile comestibile, plantele medicinale şi aromatice, cultivate şi din flora spontană, răşina şi altele similare.
- Servicii de silvoturism şi agrement, echitaţie şi turism ecvestru, folosind eficient capacităţile proprii.
- Servicii forestiere pentru suprafeţe de fond forestier, proprietate privată sau aparţinând unităţilor administrativ-teritoriale, păşuni împădurite, perdele forestiere, pe bază de contract.
- Vânzări de cabaline la intern şi extern.
- Servicii pentru acţiuni de vânătoare, asigurând pensiune completă, ghid specializat, transport în terenul de vânătoare, precum şi închirieri de arme şi muniţii.
- Lucrări de proiectare a drumurilor forestiere, corectare a torenţilor, împăduriri.
- Servicii de cercetare forestieră.
- Servicii de asigurare a acţiunilor de pescuit sportive în ape de munte (păstrăv).
- Managementul ÅŸi administrarea zonelor protejate.

Activităţi (RO)/Activities (EN):
ROMSILVA - THE NATIONAL FOREST ADMINISTRATION activates in the following fields of activity:
- The implementation of the national strategy in the field of forestry, taking action for the protection, preservation and sustainable development of the forestry fund - state-owned property, which it administers, as well as for the management of the hunting and fishing funds allotted according to the law, for harvesting and capitalizing on the products specific to the forestry fund, through trade actions, according to legal stipulations, under circumstances of economic efficiency, also performing public service duties specific to forestry field;
- The coordination and implementation of the National Program for Horse Breeding, the National Genetic Patrimony Preservation made of the total horses populations with high genetic value, breeding, pure breed horse population qualification and improvement. It trades products specific to the forestry fund, as well as the other goods that are harvested, processed and capitalized on of the forestry fund - public ownership:
a) wood base, from cutting main, secondary, accidental and forest hygene products and as different ranges of goods, as well as the products resulting from primary wood processing;
b) other wood products: ornamental trees and shrubs, Christmass trees, forest sapling, osier and wickerwork, kiln charcoal and others;
c) live game in farms and hunting funds, venison, hunting trophies and naturally shed antlers, fish in mountain waters, fisheries, ponds and lakes of the forestry fund, forest fruits, forest seeds, edible mushrooms, medicinal and aromatic plants, cultivated or of the self-sown flora, resin and others.
- Services of forest-related tourism and leisure, equitation and horseback riding tourism, by efficiently using existing utilities.
- Forestry services for forestry fund areas, private property or in the administration of territorial administrative units, afforested pastures, forest curtains, on a contract basis.
- Trade of horses, domestic and international.
- Services for hunting activities, providing full accomodation, specialized guide, transport on hunting ground, as well as rifle and ammunition rental.
- Forest road design works, torrent correction, afforestations.
- Forestry research services.
- Services of sport fishing organizing in mountain waters (trout).
- Management and administration of protected areas.
